CEDR is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Beryl and its potential impact on Puerto Rico, USVI, and the Bahamas.
Here is a summary of the latest forecasts from NHC (National Hurricane Center):
There are no coastal watches or warning in effect.
Environmental conditions are expected to become somewhat conducive for regeneration of a hurricane in a few days when the remnants of Beryl are forecast to move across the Bahamas and the western Atlantic.
Formation chance through five days: 50 percent

Aquí hay un resumen de los últimos pronósticos del NHC (Centro Nacional de Huracanes):
Las condiciones ambientales indican que es probable que el remanente de Beryl vuelva a convertirse en un Huracán alrededor del miercoles o jueves. También se pronostica un giro hacia el norte sobre las Bahamas y el oeste del Atlántico.
Probabilidad de conversión a huracán en 48 horas: cerca de 10 por ciento
Probabilidad de inversión a huracán en 5 días: 50 por ciento

CEDR is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Chris and its potential impact on North Carolina’s Outer Banks Islands, where it is currently stationary.
The latest forecasts from NOAA anticipate further strengthening off the NC coast with the potential to become a hurricane Monday night or Tuesday morning. Until the potential danger is fully passed, we will continue to monitor and update this page with new information as it becomes available.
